FAQ

Good things take time. Our typical lead time for custom furniture is 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and our current workload. We will keep you updated with photos throughout the build process.

Yes. To begin a custom commission, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. This covers the cost of materials (premium hardwoods, steel, epoxy) and secures your spot in our production schedule. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to shipping or pickup.

Absolutely. We love meeting our clients! If you are local to Southern California, select "Local Pickup" at checkout. We will notify you when your piece is ready, and we'll even help you load it.

Wood is a natural product. No two slabs are identical. Small knots, unique grain patterns, and slight color variations are part of the "Bespoke" charm and are not considered defects. Additionally, wood "breathes"—it may expand or contract slightly with changes in humidity. We build our furniture with traditional joinery to allow for this natural movement.

Epoxy and wood are durable but need care.
1. Use coasters for hot drinks (Epoxy can soften at high heat).
2. Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap (Grip Clean works great!).
3. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers that can scratch the finish.

Yes! Check our "Shop Supplies" section. We sell the exact router templates and jigs we use daily in the workshop. They are CNC-cut for perfect precision.

It is critical that you inspect your furniture before signing the delivery receipt from the freight company. If you see visible damage to the crate or the piece, note it clearly on the Bill of Lading (BOL) and take photos immediately. Contact us within 24 hours so we can file a claim with the carrier.

Shipping

Currently, we only ship within the United States. For our international customers interested in templates or smaller shop supplies, please contact us directly for a custom shipping quote.

Yes. For large furniture items (dining tables, desks), we use specialized freight carriers. Each piece is custom-crated to ensure it arrives safely. Shipping costs vary by location and weight—please contact us for a freight quote before purchasing.

Returns

Because custom commissions are built to your specific dimensions and style, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on custom furniture once production has begun. We work closely with you during the design phase to ensure the final piece is exactly what you envision.

  • Yes. Non-custom items like router templates or Grip Clean products can be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
